Inspired by the famous Italian inlay work of the Renaissance, 12 pieces of veneer with different grain directions are carefully hand-jointed to create a naturally legible clock face. In keeping with the principle of "form follows function," this time-honored decorative technique is thus applied to a practical purpose: telling the time.
The Pieces of Time wall clock is meticulously handcrafted in Italy. Due to the varying grain of the wood and the varying arrangement of the veneer pieces, each clock is unique.
